DYNAMIC DAD AND THE WORLD OF BLOG

For those who know me well, you know I’m a 36 year old man with the heart of a 60 year old man. I make no apologies telling people I wished I would have been born in the 1950’s. Mainly because of the music, both secular and Christian. I’m an Elvis fan, Southern Gospel Quartet fan, I take a lot of vitamins, I don’t dress real trendy, my knees hurt, I like to go to the hills of Tennessee to relax, I’m conservative, I have no hair, I tuck my shirts in, I wish I drove a Cadillac, I have an i-Pod but never use it, I bought my first laptop this year, I don’t do MySpace, I don’t do Facebook, BUT I now do BLOG (whatever that means). I guess the “technical” way to say that is, “I’m now a blogger.” (That just sounds weird ).

Anyway, the Dynamic Dad ministry will now have a blog site. This will be a blog where I will post various Dynamic Dad articles and thoughts for you to read and post comments. Cut this “old man” some slack as we venture out into this world together. I’ll do my best to keep it fresh and updated. As intimidating as this may be for me, Community Life Pastor, and resident hippy, Nathan Tatman, will be guiding me along the process. The launch date is January 13. Be sure to add it to your list of favorite blog sites, or your RSS feed (impressed?).

I’m looking forward to this opportunity, but most of all I hope it is just another avenue to use in order to encourage dads as we trudge though this difficult job together. I appreciate your feedback from the newsletter and look forward to your feedback on the blog. So on January 13, visit www.dynamicdad.blogspot.com and let the blogging begin!
