The other day my daughter and I were driving to her softball game. While driving we were listening to a worship CD by Chris Tomlin. During the song "Indescribable," I was struck with lyrics that penetrated my heart. The lyrics that inspired me were, "He knows the depth of our hearts and He loves us the same." What an awesome thought! To think that God can see deep within our sinful selves and still love us is beyond comprehension! If you have been feeling like you don't have much to offer God or that you don't have a friend in the world, just remember there is a God in Heaven who loves you no matter what. This obviously doesn't mean we should live however we want and God will still love us. On the contrary, knowing how much God loves us despite our sinful nature should inspire us to live more fully for Him. So the next time you pray, make sure you take some time to thank God that even though He knows the depth of your heart, He still loves you the same!
